I agree both amazon and netflix buttons should allow for customization .

I have no intention of using  either service .  a you tube and browser launch buttons would be much better.

I'm a very disappointed with webos  TBH.

I have an android box with google tv and it is much  better, maybe I was spoilt  by  having it before I purchased  my smart tv.....

i disagree here a bit.

At least on my TV it is very fast and easy to use, Android boxes , at least the ones i tried are very slow.

Were i agree with you is currently the features are a bit limited.

The button customization is very high on my wishlist, as is beeing able to launch a webpage in fullscreen from the menu.

Also some apps are missing, but luckily for me, my main apps such as Plex and SIPTV are working fine.

I also agree that being able to customize this buttons would be nice.

It's pity that on a remote so useful this buttons are wasted, of course for people that have the services the option would still be there.

Even if I would register to a streaming service, I would not pay for all 3 providers.

So +3 from me.

I know about the numbers, but it's  not  the same thing, is it?

This are extra, separated buttons  that are  nicely placed, and are a waste for the people  that don't  want to pay for all 3 services.

It would be very nice to reuse them.

Look at who the two buttons are assigned to.  I’m sure they’re paying a whole bunch of money for those dedicated (ads) buttons.

I doubt they’re ever going away or will ever be customizable.

At least it’d be nice to have a single extra customizable button for another app in a convenient location.

Until then it’s long press 9...

My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???
      Thanks for the help.

Has anyone else had the same problem as me regarding the 'like' button on the YouTube app on my Oled77g7v? There is a thumbs up button and a thumbs down button for each video. These icons are supposed to be just an outline unless you click on them and then they fill in to show you have selected them. However, this no longer works on my TV. It is as if you never clicked. In fact, the 'like' icon is always pre_filled, no matter what I do. This used to work properly and it still works correctly on a Sony TV I have. Any ideas would be very welcome!

I have owned a couple of LG TV’s over the last 8 years, with the current one being a high-end 77” model.
I am still using LG TV SmartShare (v.33) as my “Media Player” v2.3.1511.1201 for my PC– which was last updated in 2015 but it is still compatible today.  As proof, my latest TV is now 11 months old and I have had zero issue (until you see below).
link hidden, please login to view My PC setup is: Windows 10 Pro (with all latest updates) and a TP-Link Archer BE19000 (BE805) router.    NOTHING has been changed on my router, TV (no updated or changed firmware) or any equipment moved around in the last 4 months.
Up until about 3 weeks ago, everything ran just fine.  The SmartShare program was always defaulted to have Sharing ON, upon start of it, which is always when Windows boots).  However, about 3 weeks ago, the SmartShare PC program has started to randomly change its status to Sharing OFF.  I would then have to go into the program, manually change it to ON and then it works anywhere for 30 minutes up to 20 hours, and again, randomly change the Sharing to OFF.
I am an experienced PC user, and I am very sure that this has nothing to do with my WIFI because it’s not a dropped connection or random TV not being found.   Something is happening inside Windows 10 that is triggering this status change.  And it never fluctuates back to Sharing ON by itself.
Being so frustrated, I actually updated the Router to the latest firmware a few days ago, but this problem continues as before.
As an experiment, I installed an alternate Media Server program called Serviio.  One can also see that when my Sharing changes to OFF, the two green lights turn red.
Anyone have an idea of what can be happening after nearly 8 years of not experiencing this?       I am guessing that Windows is triggering some “Service” to stop running, but what can it be?

I've bought OLED55CX3LA and have screenshare errors ever since.
I'm using Dell machine with Windows 10 onboard.
Almost every time I try to connect using "connect with remote screen" windows option, I get the pop up that
      only with cancel button.

Sometimes there is approval button but mostly I have only "cancel" option.
Have this error on OLED55CX3LA and one older model. Same behavior.

Mobile screen sharing working perfectly fine.

      How to fix it?
I've cleared the connection history but without any success.
Not sure if I should put it on warranty or if there is some simple fix?

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.
