I have a new lg 55uj634v tv and have an annoying issue.I live close to the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

When I tune in my DTV,I get about 47 odd channels showing up on auto search,but when I go to watch them,The non Irish Channels all show up with Invalid Service with a little animation,so basically all the freeview Channels seem scrambled or something.

Does anyone know what Invalid Service means or how I could get around this

Having this issue also... not sure why... have rescanned a few times but still basic Irish and none subscription channels remain 'invalid service' or no 'ci module'... also now getting 'no signal' messages on some channels. Even though they have been scanned and found by the LG tv.  Is this an Irish cable issue, with the LG OS not recognising the transmissions?

are their LG techs on this forum who could answer?

All I get is invalid service for every non Irish channel.I have to set my tv to UK tuner to neven pick u these channels.I live in Donegal. When set to Irish broadcast,only pick up Irish soarview. I have a fairly powerful antenna, so should be able to pick up freeview from NI

Dont know what the issue is,but had same problem with old samsung TV.Am thinking the soarview broadcast has somehow interfered with Freeviews.Dont know if its an LG problem.I got into the service menu on the tv and messed about with a load of different settings for the DTV tuners, different regions,but still same issue

Would really love to get the freeview channels or explanation or solution for this.

      A few years ago I bought a 43" LG Model 43UK6200PUA, manufactured in 2018. I'm from Canada but I purchased this TV in the US. It was a store demo unit on for a great price. I took it home to Canada, set the location to Canada and setup up in our bedroom.  It has been working fine with our Fiber TV service as well as Netflix, Amazon etc. We also to have a 60" LG TV in the living room which was purchased in Canada. This TV is similar in age to the one in the bedroom. Recently I started watching the LG channels on the living room  TV. I hadn't really paid much attention to them before but now I enjoy them. My problem is that the LG channels do not work on the bedroom TV. I suspect because it was purchased in the US but located in Canada. With the location set to Canada the LG channel guide populates and shows what's on however when I select a program I get the following message.
      LG Channels can't be serviced if a user changes 'LG Service Country' from Settings. In order to use LG Channels service, please restore 'LG Service Country' to its condition of original purchase
      So if I change the location to the US I get this message.
      Sorry, LG Channels is not available in your location. Please set your location to your current location in the settings. If you are in the service area, please visit www.lgappstv.com for help.
      As you can see the messages sort of contradict each other also the website mentioned www.lgappstv.com is not working. I suspect that the location for this TV is set to the US at some deeper level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      My LG television does not have a CI Module and pay chennals shows scrambled. In some LG televisions, some free to air channels work fine while others pay chennals will display the message "No CI Module". How to watch other LGTV "Scrambled" channels.
