CHICAGO, ILL. AND TOULOUSE, FRANCE (PRWEB)

Intuiface, provider of the world’s premier interactive experience creation platform, is pleased to announce support for the LG webOS operating system. All multi-touch content created with Intuiface software can now be run on all smart devices running webOS 3.0, 3.0+, and 4.0, including the LG TC3D series of Integrated Touch Boards with PCAP (projected capacitive) touch technology. With this announcement, Intuiface provides multi-touch signage option for webOS, enabling businesses to invest in and to realize the added benefits of interactive over passive signage.

Built from the ground-up with touch capabilities at its core, Intuiface is a no-coding software platform enabling any organization to create and deliver gratifying, purposeful, data-driven digital experiences that connect people to place, powered by the latest interactive technologies. Advantages of interactive digital content include deeper, lasting engagement thanks to real-time personalization and the ability to track user preferences in context, generating actionable business insights.

Organizations adopting webOS devices for digital signage distribution can now use the IntuiFace platform, empowering them to create personalized, template-free visual content, incorporate live connections to cloud-based data and APIs (including social networks, IoT, Web triggers), and adopt all core capabilities necessary for successful signage and kiosk deployments such as remote deployment, fine grained user data collection and analytics, scheduling, and the ability to work offline.

The marriage between the Intuiface platform and webOS is rooted in work by Intuiface to port its HTML5-based runtime (aka Player) to the touch-enabled webOS Web browser. The result - complementing Intuiface’s previous work for other platforms – enables users and partners to both manually access and remotely deploy interactive experiences simply by entering a URL.

The combination of Intuiface’s unique capabilities with the dramatically reduced total cost of ownership achieved by SoC-based LG webOS devices creates a compelling low-cost option in the signage market for content creation, deployment, and monitoring. It is estimated that projects built with these two platforms will reduce total cost of ownership by 65% and time-to-deployment by 50% over conventional display and content delivery approaches.

“Devices running LG webOS, coupled with premier PCAP touch technology, have a price point and convenience that make interactive signage deployments – the natural evolution of passive signage – an excellent choice for businesses of any size,” added Vincent Encontre, COO, Intuiface. “Thanks to our technology partnership with LG, Intuiface has been able to make interactive signage creation accessible as well. We believe the market will be amazed at what can be achieved, triggering a significant increase in interactive webOS-based projects.”

“Giving LG digital signage customers the ability to create multi-touch digital content through the Intuiface platform is consistent with our strategy to offer the best technology currently available in the industry,” said Jongjin Woo, ID Business Unit R&D Head, LG Electronics. “For organizations in search of an affordable, accessible path to creating interactive digital signage – even organizations with no development skills - Intuiface and LG offer a uniquely compelling, turnkey package.”

Interactive experiences built using Intuiface Composer can be published to a public or private cloud storage account and then downloaded and run, using Intuiface Player, on the PCAP-based LG TC3D Interactive Digital Boards as well as on any other LG display series running LG webOS 3.0, 3.0+, or 4.0. Both Composer and Player can be trialed for free – without a time limit – or licensed with an annual subscription. Information for getting started can be found here.

We are considering to buy OLED65E8PUA, OLED65C8PUA or 65SK9500 smart TV, which offers us high brightness display. We would love to know if the multi-touch function is enabled at default. If not, is there a way to enable this function?

Hello, Not sure if you can help, the user manual certainly CAN'T help!   When I first setup the monitor, It asked what the default mode will be, I selected PC, and default input HDMI1 I have it connected to a MAC Mini M4 with HDMI cable, every time the Mac Mini goes into sleep mode or I leave for a while, the Monitor Switches off,  cannot be woken up by the mac mini by hitting the keyboard or mouse as per normal monitor. I have to power ON the monitor with the remote and manually select HDMI1 to go back to using the Mac Mini I can't find the settings section to check the Default Power on or wake up Mode settings are, the manual does not provide this information. Very annoying!

LG is dedicated to enriching the lives of people in the communities where it operates. Recently, LG offices in Vietnam and Thailand made significant contributions by donating various LG products to support local initiatives. These acts of generosity underscore LG’s global commitment to corporate social responsibility and demonstrate the positive impact a company can have when it invests in the well-being of its local communities.

In Vietnam, the Lunar New Year, or Tet, is a time of family reunions and shared experiences, with television playing a central role in these celebrations. To enhance the Tet experience for the people of Yen Bai Province, LG Vietnam donated 40 LG TVs to families who suffered significant losses during Typhoon Yagi. As part of its annual campaign, “Tet Nha la Tet Nhat” (Family Tet is the Best Tet), LG Vietnam extended support to 40 households facing severe hardships, including families of war veterans and those with meritorious services to the revolution, in the districts of Van Yen, Luc Yen and Tran Yen.

No district suffered the wrath of Typhoon Yagi more than Van Yen, where the natural disaster destroyed vast areas, damaging, eroding or completely destroying countless houses. Large stretches of cropland along the rivers and streams were submerged in deep water, causing havoc to the lives and livelihoods of the locals. Last year,

Since Tet 2024, LG kicked off the “Tet Nha la Tet Nhat” campaign, named after the respected proverb “Tet Nhat.” “Tet” represents a meaningful time of year when Vietnamese people prepare the best for their families, while “Nhat,” meaning “best,” aligns with LG OLED TV’s global leadership and the world-class quality of its advanced products.

The Year of the Snake marks 30 years of LG’s presence in Vietnam, symbolizing a deep commitment to continuous innovation and creative solutions for smart living. This milestone reflects LG’s dedication to improving the lives of Vietnamese customers and fulfilling its Life’s Good vision.

In Thailand, LG recently donated 50 LG gram laptops to the Thailand Collaboration for Education (TCFE) program, an initiative of the Yuvabadhana Foundation. This donation, valued at over 2,301,000 baht (USD 68,000), will benefit over 400 students at Nikomphimaisuksa School in Nakhon Ratchasima province and Piyabut School in Lopburi province, both of which lack adequate computer equipment for effective digital learning.

The donated laptops are high-performance, lightweight LG gram models equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 Processors, making them ideal for modern AI software applications. Students in lower secondary school (Mathayom 1-3) will use these laptops to access digital curricula in science, mathematics and English. Upper secondary students (Mathayom 4-6) will leverage the laptops’ AI capabilities for advanced learning, including data analysis and enhanced comprehension.

The TCFE program aims to reduce educational inequality and promote sustainable education in Thailand by focusing on four key areas: educational accessibility, teaching and learning quality development, life skills and moral cultivation and nutrition support. LG’s laptop donation directly supports two of these areas: improving access to education by providing equipment to remote schools and enhancing teaching and learning quality by enabling digital curriculum implementation.

This donation reflects LG’s belief in the transformative power of AI in education and its commitment to ensuring all Thai youth have access to this technology. The company views this donation as part of its ongoing support for AI education in Thailand, which includes equipment donations, expertise sharing and future initiatives.
From providing essential appliances to enhancing educational opportunities, LG Vietnam and LG Thailand are actively making a difference in the lives of those around them. To learn more about the activities of LG offices around the globe, visit the .
