Problem with voice instructions before update

Miguel Angel

Question

I have a TV LG 43UK6950PLB. Recently I updated to latest firmware version which is 04.10.04. When I try use de Magic Remote Control giving orders through the microphone, I receive a message like there is a problem with server temporarily and error 6022.

I think is something about the update but how can return to previous version?

Is this happening to someone else?

Please give some advice.

Thanks

Hi Olivier

LG customer service instructed me to update my oled to latest firmware via USB (via wifi by TV no update were available!).
Once done vocal commands work only once and after nothing again, same error 6022.
So a technician will come at my home to check what the hell is going on. No way that on a 2000€ tv those issues will happen!
At least customer service is really good. They reply so quickly!

Keep you posted
Regards

Francesco

Hello guys

problem discovered: it is my wifi home line that doesn't allow vocals commands.
All apps with wifi are working, only vocals don't.
I tried to connect TV via mobile hotspot and everything is working out. Once i switch to wifi home line, vocals commands stop.
So the TV Technician wasn't able to help in this field.

Any tips about it? i don't know if i have to open ports on router or whatever...

Most important thing to know is that TV has no errors or defects :)... but now i 've another thing to understand how to fix :(

Does anyone have any updates on this. I just bought brand new 49UK7550 and have the same problem. I have contacted customer support twice now but so far they just quote the manual and have nothing useful to say. I am on 04.10.45.

What I found is when the TV is on say an HDMI input it works fine. Only when on live tv (freeview in the UK) does it give 6022 errors. What I found interesting is if I set the voice language to French, then it works but any English versions, gives error 6022.

Another problem I have is setting a USB recording from freeview guide often says "failed.... try again" with most programs. Some programs work, some don't. I have ruled out a problem with my usb drive, because setting a reminder also fails for the same programs. Any ideas?

Really annoying that LG don't seem on top of technical issues, like these and are fobbing people off saying the remote might be faulty. Clearly they are firmware bugs and/or configuration issues on their servers.

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

I received an update 05.40.45 for my LG 65UM7510PLA TV a few days ago. After I tried to edit the channel list with the ChanSort programme, I noticed that the channel list transferred from the TV to USB was greatly reduced.
This was not a problem with the previous version 05.40.20. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upload the old version via USB.

As above! All4 & My5 will no longer work. Also, how do you update the browser? My LG nano TV is just over 3 years old.

I would like to update the OS on a relatively old TV (manufactured in 2015). So there are questions: how to find your version, where to download a new one and check its compatibility with my TV?
