Downloading app.

I have 55uh61 smart tv any way to download an application on it I tried but says download not supported.

Any way to download or no .

What exactly are you trying to download?

While webOS is based on Unix, like Linux and MacOS, currently VLC have not ported their software to LG's SMART TV platform.  So whatever you are downloading will not work on the webOS system.

so what else I can download  , in general it does not accept any downloadings even if supported by webos , anything I am missing here  .

Nope you're not missing a thing, Smart TVs have not reached the level of functionality of PCs or Smartphones and tablets.
