Changing HDMI input label on brand-new OLED55C9

I just installed this yesterday and firmware is current.  I have my theater receiver connected to HDMI2 but the label somehow defaulted to Apple TV.  I want to change it but when I go to the edit screen it won’t let me access that input to change.

I think there are new options in version 3.60.02. On the “Home Dashboard” screen there’s an edit button in the top right corner. Selecting that lets you edit input labels.

HDTVTests review of the C9 found that in it's service menu was a history of HDMI devices connected, this is likely why it recognizes the AppleTV.

If you still cannot edit the label as per Brandon's instructions it could be LG's engineers didn't put enough thought into the system and that people may still want to change the labels even if the TV auto detects the devices correctly.

      Last input behavior changed after update

      Hello, after the last update of WebOS (6.5.0.-24) there is different behavior of returning back to previous input on my TV. When I was watching a Live TV and opened an app like Youtube, after closing it (holding the return button) it used to return to Live TV. The same with HDMI input, when I was playing on Playstation and the opened an app, after closing it it returned back to PS. Now after the update, it always go to the Home Screen when the app is closed. I only found in setting to return to last input when turning the TV on instead of Home Screen, but didn't find the same for the behavior after closing an app. Is there a way to fix it?

      Latest software update broke HDMI on my LG OLED G2?

      Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
      Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
      Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
      Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
      I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
      This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
      Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
      Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
        The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

       
      Has anyone else experienced this? 
      Is it possible to revert the software update?

      I have this TV for over a year.., Is there option to change the background image/painting dispalyed after turning TV on?

      Problem simultaneously using hdmi soundbar and headphones in 3.5mm jack

      I've just purchased an OLED48 C44 LA which comes with a US 60T soundbar. I've connected the soundbar to the HDMI earc socket. Because my hearing isn't too good I'd like to also have some heaphones plugged into the 3.5mm socket so that both the hdmi earc and 3.5mm socket have sound simultaneously. I've been into accessablity menu and the listen together option doesn't appear to offer both hdmiearc and 3.5 mm simultaneously. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
      just to be clear, There is a setting which permits TV speakers plus wired external headphones. I just haven't found a setting which allows HDMI earc soundbar plus wired headphones.

      My TV is set to satellite input. I can't receive aerial reception where I am. The LG TV App re-sets my tv to aerial input whenever I use it. Does anybody else have this problem?
