My WebOS tv will not pick up WiFi anymore. It says searching and never finds it. This has been going on now for about 3-4 months. I keep calling LG and they keep repeating the same thing. I’ve tried every way and it still won’t connect. Why did it stop? It’s annoying me!

A little more information on which TV, the webOS and firmware versions would go some way to forum members giving you help and advise.

Also, you may to look at this thread:

Some users have installed replacement modules, while others have disconnected and reconnected cables to get their WiFi working again.

perhaps try using Powerline plugs instead, cheaper than buying a whole new TV, and avoids having network cables running around your room/house too.   The Network is fed from the router, through the nearest power socket, through your house mains, into the closest socket to the TV, and then via ethernet cable into back of your TV, a wired network connection.

      I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution.  The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range.
      I have tried making a speed test at fast.com, for both the TV (through the Webbrowser) and for my laptop and iPhone. The speed test for TV showed 2.5 Mbps and my laptop and iPhone showed 110 Mbps. Can there really be such a big difference? I am starting to wonder if this might be a warranty issue?
      Do any of you guys have experience with bad Wifi reception on your LG TV or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

      so i have router and hotspot from mobile phone, 
      If i want to change wifi connection, my tv keep asking the password, eventho it has been connected before.
      Please help how to solve this problem?

      It is unprofessional on part of LG TV that they do not resolve the basic issue of adding app gCmob in their app store.
      My 50UT80506LA LG WebOs TV does not support my office security camera system via wifi to TV.  We need (gCmob app) in list of app.
      I can't connect my office camera via Wi-Fi to LG-TV. No body in LG TV technical team is proactive in resolving the issue of customer. They are more happy to befool the customers, rather than looking for technical solution through wider thinking.
      Please talk to you top management and make a visit to our office to understand the customers plight..
      Please respond to customers needs.

      I recently bought a new router (Unify Dream Router) and after a couple of weeks of struggle, I managed to set it up with my ISP's VDSL connection (FFTC) using a third party modem in bridge mode (NETGEAR D6400).
      Everything seemed to be working fine until I realised I couldn't open the Netflix app on my LG Smart TV. After a bit of investigation, I realised nothing except for YouTube and the Browser was working. Just to make this clear: the WiFi connects fine, I can access all websites through the LG Browser, and I have no issues with YouTube, but nothing else works.
      All the regular streaming apps fail to open and, most importantly, the LG Content Store fails to load. Before I fixed my network, the tv was working fine. If I switch to my phone's hotspot, everything works fine.
      Things that I've tried:
      factory resetting the tv leaving the tv unplugged to delete cache using google's DNS on the TV using a wired connection  Having said so, I am so lost that I would be happy to try anything again.
