I was able to download Netflix and Amazon Prime using a hot spot via my phone instead of my wifi network. I was not able to upgrade them and tried removing and reinstalling.  Wouldn't do it until I tried this. It was slow but worked. Stupid that we are having the problem at all.

I am having exact same problem. Can't install apps. For example, I can't install

link hidden, please login to view
Prime from App store or download update from home app screen.

Had the exact same problem.i just found a solution from a youtube video(well at least for my tv).The trick is to change the DNS SERVER

Go to; settings>network>Wi-Fi connection>Advanced settings > DNS SERVER>Edit then change it to 8.8.8.8

After that everything Apps started updating and installing  just fine.

Easy fix folks.

Go into your network settings.

Click on whichever connection your have (wired or wireless connection )

Scroll to the bottom and select edit

uncheck set automatically

change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8

click connect and bam you’re good to go

Since the Web OS update last week, the line on the Home Screen with all my apps has changed.  Now Apps is the first one in the line.  I do not want it there, but cannot move it.  If I go to the end where it shows Edit Apps, I can click on any app to move it or delete it.  But, the Apps icon is grayed out and cannot be moved.  My neighbor has the exact same model I do -- LG OLED 653PUA -- and it is not like that on his tv.  He can move the App icon anywhere he wants.  This is very annoying as it defaults to the Apps icon when I click on Home and then I need to click to get to YouTube TV, which until the update was always first in the line.

I’d love to see a new feature in the next software update where the sound mode automatically adjusts based on the app being used. For example, when opening music apps like Apple Music or Spotify, the sound mode could switch to Music Mode, and for streaming apps like Netflix or Prime Video, it could switch to Cinema Mode. This addition would make the user experience so much smoother and more convenient!

Hello I have a 2020 LG oled 65 inch tv and I am connected to internet via wifi. I checked connections and they are all good and working. I have standard apps that came with TV installed Netflix, Disney plus ect. And now TV is saying they both need to be updated to have access to those apps. Everytime I go to update and click on update it says the app is not installed so it won't update when I look to make sure app is installed it shows they are.
I am confused on what's going on and how to update these apps and get access to them again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thx

Immediately following the major LG webOS firmware upgrade last week, our OLED65G2PSA is damaged. A white line appears top to bottom of screen in from the left hand side & the tv either fails to turn on, or shuts itself down shortly after. Has anyone else had this issue & if so, has any update on a solution. (I'm waiting for LG to get it sorted. Waiting ...)
