Hdd 4Tb on C9

Hi everyone 

i ´d like to connect a WD hdd of 4 Tb to watch my pictures on my C9. But before to buy the hdd, I ´d like to know if the tv will recognise it?

I have a 2tb Portable hdd that works perfectly. I also have a 10tb which also works fine but its powered. So 4tb should work fine 99% . The TV can support the 4tb hard disk, its just that it might not be able to supply sufficient power if the 4tb requires more power than the 2tb.

In the unlikely case it doesn’t work you’ll need a powered USB hub to connect the hard disk. It will then work for sure.
