Rodolfo Ribeiro Gomes Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 My previous TV (Sony Bravia) has an automatic sleep after a time period without no remote control or TV button interactions. I miss this feature so much. I could set up the sleep time (40 minutes, 1h, 2h ...) on TV setup. Close to timeout, an overlaid message warns about the inactivity time and it'll be soon shutdown. I know my TV 55UM76 allows to use Sleep timer, but it isn't the same thing. Quote
icanhaztevizion Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 In an energy conscious world, how is this not a thing? This has been standard on televisions (albeit not for energy consumption reasons EG burn-in) since the 90's. +1 since I don't want my 100W+ "conventional light bulb" running all day every time I forget to turn off the "light switch" Quote
