After updating firmware 04.71.25 pic is degraded on 55UM7450

Question

Posted

Maybe I didnt noticed that before. But when watching TV programs (DTV, via antenna, DVB-T2/h265) I noticed that logos arent super crisp, sometimes like they have those artefacts around them, noticable specially when looking from close, like when you have in tube streaming, also similar artefacts can be seen when looking at TV telps with lots fo jpegs/inforgraphics). Its noticable on pictures (human faces) but less. Like some pixelisation.  Some channels are better but....I doubt that has anytging to do with update but I want to be sure if that is possible....the last two updates (newer than my stock firmware) came with minor fixes (says nothing about processing or picture). What do you think?

I have 55UM 7450PLA LED TV. I manually updated from 04.07.20 to 04.71.25 (firmware downloaded from official LG page for this model).

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

Our TV just did an update and now certain buttons on the remote aren't working, and the TV won't stay on if it even comes on at all you get a dark blue screen and that is it.. such a great update. Now what do we do? The remote batteries have been changed and it still isn't working correctly. We unplugged the TV and then replaced it in.. ugh..

I had an issue with powering on the tv in which pressing the lg power button on the first ocassion did not turn on my Oled C1 77 inch Tv.
LG replaced the powerboard, however since the replacement I have an issue with intermittent audio dropouts via earc.
EARC has functioned previously on my Tv when connected to an Anthem 710 receiver and for a few months now on an Anthem AVM 70.
The set up has remained the same in terms of audio settings, passthough, match screen and sound set to bypass and I have tried multiple cables, switching the tv off, resetting earc, but I still have the issue.

It is very odd that after a replacement power board I have this issue. It almost seems like a comparability issue between the new board and the existing components or something else is wrong with the TV.
      Any ideas?
