Hotstar TV language selection

Hi

I can't find setting option in New Hotstar App to change language of a movie. Movies are playing in default language and I am not able change its language. UP key of magic mouse doesn't give menu option in hotstar. Plz advise solution.

Please check your webOS TV version . The app's feature for changing languages is only available for web OS 4 and above. Sadly even I cant use this feature. Trying to communicate with the customer support for the same.

To check web TV OS:  Go to settings---> General------>About this TV------->TV Information ( click on "TV information" to know your TV's web OS version)

I meant the hotstar support answer is lie. Because I did used to change language in the app till couple of months ago. My tv is 2017 oled & not on webos 4.

Yes, you are right. Even I got the same response from hotstar now "Disney+Hotstar" that - issue is resolved for all lg TV's with webos ver 4 & above. They are working with lg to fix it for lower version and it's gonna take time.

@aniruddh kumthekar  thanks for update, yes it got resolved.. just wanted to check if you face buffering issue watching hotstar. I face it most of the time on hotstar. First I thought if it was due to network slowness but doesn't seem becoz other all apps viz. Amazon, zee5, Netflix, YouTube works seamlessly. Let me know your thought on this.

      I have a 65 Inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV 2024 - Model OLED65C4PUA.ACC. here have been a many weird things happening. This is one of them:
      Whenever I turn on my TV, it doesn't remember the audio settings I chose before. I repeatedly need to set my audio for the input I am using. I ofter select APPLY TO ALL INPUTS to try and make sure it's the same regardless of which input I use, but it still reverts all changes.
      Does anyone know what this happens?

      On my LG 60SJ850T, Watching Horizon from AppleTV streaming service. Western with some scenes with Apache language being spoken. No subtitles appearing. When CC is on, see “foreign language being spoken”. When viewed on iPhone, there are subtitles. Have tried same movie using chrome cast TV, and casting from iPhone to Apple TV device. Never get subtitles. Verified subtitles work when I stream to same chromecast TV connected to a different TV. 
       
      reset LG TV to factory settings after trying all available CC and subtitle settings on TV. Still no subtitles.

      I am using LG TV(UT8050 4K ULTRA HD). Disney hotstar app is running horribly, it is lagging too much and background video auto play making it worse. Can we add an option in it to disable to background video play in next update of Disney hotstar app.

      Disney hotstar doesn't support dolby 5.1 or atmos on my new lg A2 oled.The sound quality in hotstar is so low other than netflix n amazon due toh the above reason.I checked the app last updated on app store it showed me in 03/04/2020.
