Xtream box is not working with LG 4k tb

LG 4k TV is not supporting xtream box. 

I have LG 4k HDR tv and yesterday I purchased xtream set up box. Once I turn off HDR from tv settings, it asks to reboot for settings to take effect. After I reboot, TV automatically detects HDR enabled input, and enables HDR. I have not found a way to disable HDR from xstream box settings. No solution in sight. Please help this is an issue with STB.

Why do you want to disable HDR?
Xstream box functions in HDR mode only with HDR TVs. Although the non HDR content(tv channels) will display as non HDR (SDR) and HDR content ( from netflix and prime) as HDR.

TV will always indicate it is receiving an HDR signal for all content.

      Sky News stopped working after the webOS update

      webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
      I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
      Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      LG Channels not working. Location issue.

      A few years ago I bought a 43" LG Model 43UK6200PUA, manufactured in 2018. I'm from Canada but I purchased this TV in the US. It was a store demo unit on for a great price. I took it home to Canada, set the location to Canada and setup up in our bedroom.  It has been working fine with our Fiber TV service as well as Netflix, Amazon etc. We also to have a 60" LG TV in the living room which was purchased in Canada. This TV is similar in age to the one in the bedroom. Recently I started watching the LG channels on the living room  TV. I hadn't really paid much attention to them before but now I enjoy them. My problem is that the LG channels do not work on the bedroom TV. I suspect because it was purchased in the US but located in Canada. With the location set to Canada the LG channel guide populates and shows what's on however when I select a program I get the following message.
      LG Channels can't be serviced if a user changes 'LG Service Country' from Settings. In order to use LG Channels service, please restore 'LG Service Country' to its condition of original purchase
      So if I change the location to the US I get this message.
      Sorry, LG Channels is not available in your location. Please set your location to your current location in the settings. If you are in the service area, please visit www.lgappstv.com for help.
      As you can see the messages sort of contradict each other also the website mentioned www.lgappstv.com is not working. I suspect that the location for this TV is set to the US at some deeper level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Please take steps to include Airtel Xtream Play app in WebOS Content Store!
      In India everyone is using Airtel network and Xtream Play as a bundle recharge offer with it!
      LG TV is very good and technically advanced! For this mere reason of not having Airtel Xtream Play App, We Customers, need to switch over to other brands!
      So, it is mandatory and timely, for LG to make Xtream Play available in WebOS TV, otherwise you have to loose your trusted Customers like us!
         Please think twice and Consider!!!
