OLED65B8 webOS browser won't accept password for Amazon.com account.  Winows Chrome on desktop or Android phone both sign in normally.

I have several other account sign-ins that do the same thing -- work on desktop but not on TV.  What's going on?

I have exactly the same problem on a 49UM71007LB. Is it a Bug?

If it's a bug, it's only in the latest software update on some LG models.  I have a OLED55B6 that doesn't exhibit the problem.  Only the B8 model seems to corrupt the password.  Both models have the latest software .  The latest softwares are different version numbers for each model, though.  What version is in your 49UM71007LB ?

It seems that the OS burned into the ROM of the TV has these bugs.

As you stated there is no option but to wait until the bug is patched.

in the meantime, have you tried connecting a keyboard to the TV and entering the Account and password from there?

I found that, on my B8, if I re-register my Amazon account as a new user, using the same username and password as my existing account, it will sign me in with all my account data intact -- but only for one session.  When i return, it rejects my password again.

Thats the solution! I didn't try second time... First was successful and it's enough 🙃 thank you!

I tried it with the keyboard.  Same result.

Hi everyone, I have a recent problem with my lg smart tv web browser. TV's model is 50UH635V and I've noticed that the browser can't open certain websites showing the message "the browser is no longer supported". Is there any solution to this? Can I install a 3rd party browser to my TV, like mozilla, chrome, something like that?

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!

On our LG G1 OLED, when watching a program on Binge, the Binge app restarts itself every 20 minutes or so with a message about needing to restart to free up memory. Power-cycling the TV doesn't fix the problem, nor does running the "Memory Optimiser" function from system settings. None of the other streaming service apps we have on the TV have this problem - Prime Video, Stan, Netflix, Disney+, Britbox, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Youtube. Those are the only other apps installed on the TV. I've checked the LG WebOS version and checked for app updates, and everything is latest version.
If I run the Binge Android app on my Chromecast with Google TV, it works without any problems when streaming the same programs.

In fact, Spotify doesn't offer its service to LG webOS Smartwatch now. If you want to listen to Spotify songs on LG webOS Smartwatch, you'd need a
link hidden, please login to view. With Tunelf Spotibeat Music Converter, you can and then transfer them to LG webOS Smartwatch for playing without limits.
