Chromecast support (full) in LG TV webOS

Hi Everyone,

 

OK, so what does it take to have full Chromecast support in LG TVs (webOS)?

a. Either builtin support.

b. Via webOS app.

 

The goal / use is simple as any other Chromecast device / TV: be able to say to "hey Google, play this video/music from service-X to LG-TV".

I'm new to LG OLED TV and indeed lack of Chromecast support is annoying.  I have Android phone which doesn't support Miracast and I cannot mirror my phone screen or cast my photos from Google Photos application.

I found it deceptive to advertise Google services on the TV without FULL Google cast

It really feels like a bait and switch to have partial Google Cast capabilities.

On top of that, to not have an direct cast feature for web content, seems like an intentional gap where this feature was expected.
