Please fix Bluetooth Interface, bad UX, too many steps required

Connecting my headset to my TV is such a hassle, way too many steps. Every time I have to:

  1. open settings
  2. scroll to audio
  3. scroll to bluetooth
  4. pick select a device, which opens another window
  5. navigate to my headset (multiple uses of arrow keys)
  6. select my headset
  7. hit back button multiple times to get out of window

This very bad UX.

How it should work: At step 3 once Bluetooth is selected the TV should connect to the last connected Bluetooth device. Done.

@Gerry H. I agree, that is a hassle.

As this is only a peer-to-peer advice forum, and has no connection to LG, you will have to report this direct to your country LG support.

By the way, have you checked that you have the latest firmware for your TV? What model is it?

Just got a new 55in C4 and a Denon DHT-S316 Soundbar. With my very old LG I like to have the TV connected to the speakers during the day and in the evenings I would switch to bluetooth headphones. I could easily turn off my headphones and switch back to the optical sound output with no issues.
However I tried this and while I connected my headphones with no issues, once I disconnected I couldn't get the sound to come back through the sound bar without having to with the TV and sound bar off which feels crazy at this point in time and the cost of the TV when my very old LG did this with now issues.

      Any suggestions much welcomed.

I have an LG 32LJ610V TV.
I would like to connect wireless headphones to it.
I bought a Ugreen CM523 bluetooth adapter and a JBL Waveflex wireless headphones.
The adapter and the headset are connected to each other.
But on the tv i can't set it to play through the earphones.

      Hello,
      I have a new C4 TV.
Here is the problem I am facing, as well as a suggestion for improvement.

When you have an acoustic deficiency, it is much easier to use a headset (via bluetooth).
But the only current option is to switch the sound to the internal speakers when you activate the bluetooth.
It is still a shame to penalize other people who watch TV by no longer allowing the use of a good sound installation that you have (sound bar, ...) because a person needs an acoustic aid.
Would it be possible to add this combination (optical output + bluetooth) to satisfy everyone?
I add that I tried to place an optical splitter to combine the 2, however, there is a bug apparently because as soon as you turn off the headset, there is a white rectangle which probably indicates an error that appears very briefly but every few seconds, which makes TV viewing impossible.
      Thanks for the follow-up

      Hi,
I intend to buy LG TV 43UK6300Y.
So question: if this TV require the Bluetooth headphones which must support LG sound sync (wireless) function.
If yes, could you send the list of acceptable Bluetooth headphones.
      Thank you,
      Evgeny
