firmware update

@marshall007 If you go to:

link hidden, please login to view

then click on the "reference"  link, you will see that the SAME firmware covers MANY different models, including the UN7300 and un7440 models.

The problem is that the different "country codes" assigned to the TV's in the country of sale, determing what  "apps" work or not, for that country/TV combination, and therefore what you can get from the country coded LG STORE..

so can I download software of another region and install on my tv using the usb installation method?

@marshall007 NO, it does not work like that. The firmware in the TV, plus the country code combination determines which LG STORE content is available for the country the TV is actually in. You can ONLY download apps from the LG STORE app itself on the TV itself, you cannot just cherry-pick any app you want from an external LG STORE site on a PC browser, and put it onto a USB for installing, that set-up just does not exist.

The USB stick method is ONLY for obtaining the latest firmware for specific TV models, where there may be delays in getting the OTA (Over-The-Air) updates for your TV model. LG does NOT publish APPS that way I am afraid.

what i meant to ask is if i can download the firmware for un7300 and install on un7440..since they are very similar....

@marshall007 I think you are misunderstanding what I have already posted.  You need to go to the link I posted, and then click on the red "Reference" link. This will shown that the un7300 series and the un7400 series USE THE SAME FIRMWARE, so what you are suggesting will make NO DIFFERENCE.

The country code that the TV is set to, will configure the LG STORE to work with, and show ONLY those apps that are licenced to work with your TV in that country of use. The apps "set" will get placed there and populated from a specific LG controlled server "space", depending on country of use.

@Francis torres Can you please repost your question in English, so that the general audience here can help and reply.

FYI: the latest fix in the firmware on the link for version 05.30.10 is: "[05.30.10]
1. Apple AirPlay/HomeKit available in selected countries.
2. LG Channel has been upgraded and service territory expansion

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

I received an update 05.40.45 for my LG 65UM7510PLA TV a few days ago. After I tried to edit the channel list with the ChanSort programme, I noticed that the channel list transferred from the TV to USB was greatly reduced.
This was not a problem with the previous version 05.40.20. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upload the old version via USB.

As above! All4 & My5 will no longer work. Also, how do you update the browser? My LG nano TV is just over 3 years old.

I would like to update the OS on a relatively old TV (manufactured in 2015). So there are questions: how to find your version, where to download a new one and check its compatibility with my TV?

On LG OLEDs. You go on and disable SIMPLINK. Fine. But everytime you turn on your HDMI device it enables itself back again. This happens because they have disables two key features that were present in previous OSs, as you can see clearly here
link hidden, please login to view (they even put screencaps of the menus where you see the missing options in the 23) These functions are Auto Power Sync and Auto Device Detection.
Man updates are supposed to add functionalities not the other way around. It's very annoying to turn on your TV and have your AVR turn on without you wanting to.

Anyone found a solution for this problem?
