Latest update 05.60.15 on 43UH668V

Hello,

 

After updating on 05.60.15 i have popping sound on all three hdmi ports.  I tried several different HDMI cables but it reappears when connected to the receiver. When I watch netflix or internet the sound is fine. 

Is there a problem with the update or something is wrong with the TV? I repeat before the update the sound was great.

Some hours later stopped working with same error - 7 and check your network connection.

The TV is pingable and I can connect to its open port as discovered by nmap -O -v ${TV_IP} so the network is working.

However YouTube is not working and Browser is very slow

Apps working after factory reset, but that popping crackling sound is still here. So anoying.  No changes at all.

Hi! 

I had the same problems including "robot" voices or noises when watching TV (via hdmi - with setup box).  Via coax cable ou using youtube app/netxflix app etc the problem did nor appear.

I solved the problem changing the setup box from the internet/tv provider. A month has passed and the problem desapeared

Today, my firmware updated to v05.60.25. let's see if you have any luck!

I just had some time and I decided to get a closer look.

Before the downgrade I disabled the IPV6 support in my router and lo and behold it worked.

I will let you know if the patient status changes.

From yesterday I have problem with HBO GO app, does someone have same issue ? It just stopped working and have message that TV is not supported any more. I have Web OS 05.60.25 on 43UH668V.

Answer I got from HBO support is that min supported WebOS version is 3.5, and I have 3.4.0 (05.60.25 is software version, not WebOS version). 

Does anyone have info if we can upgrade WebOS on this TVs?

HI guys,

I have the same problem with HBO Go. I have UH668V with 3.4.0 webOS and HBO Go is supported only on 3.5 and highier. It is possible upgrade webOS on this tv?

      After recent software update of LG OS software update 03.51.15, there is constant problem with Date.  Date is not setting properly and getting defaulted, due to which browser and most of the apps are not working.. Have tried to reset to original settings and remove automatic date setting option then tried setting manually.. but every day its resetting to old date.

      Hello, after the last update of WebOS (6.5.0.-24) there is different behavior of returning back to previous input on my TV. When I was watching a Live TV and opened an app like Youtube, after closing it (holding the return button) it used to return to Live TV. The same with HDMI input, when I was playing on Playstation and the opened an app, after closing it it returned back to PS. Now after the update, it always go to the Home Screen when the app is closed. I only found in setting to return to last input when turning the TV on instead of Home Screen, but didn't find the same for the behavior after closing an app. Is there a way to fix it?

      webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
      I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
      Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      Our TV just did an update and now certain buttons on the remote aren't working, and the TV won't stay on if it even comes on at all you get a dark blue screen and that is it.. such a great update. Now what do we do? The remote batteries have been changed and it still isn't working correctly. We unplugged the TV and then replaced it in.. ugh..
