Same problem with G1, LG Customer support sucks... They only suggested reset, and maybe is a problem on my Internet. The point is that the location through IP it is not correct and this can't be set manually.

I have the same issue as both the previous comments. It is strange that they are Location through IP for this and maybe other apps, especially when these are often associated with the city your ISP is based in rather than your real location. In the browser you can get it to determine your real location, but in this particular app you cannot search for a location and select\set it as default. It is hugely disappoint since this is given a prominent location on the Home Screen. I am not sure why the app was not coded to use the location set in the settings of the TV which when set seem to stay correctly applied. 👎

Please get these  issues fixed with a quick update to WebOS 6.0 LG!👍

The weather tile is broken for me too.  This TV is in an RV and gets its IP address from GCNAT via cellular data.  This tile (and many others) are useless and are a waste of screen space that I wish to simply remove.

So for me the Weather Tile is now fixed and I can set location and it sticks. Probably fixed in an update to WebOS 6

Yes, with the last firmware, i can set the correct location for the tile, probably that with the update the weather tile has been fixed. Now is possible store the location and the tile remain configured correctly.

So I'm thinking about buying an oled65g46ls, however the included 'magic' remote would be useless to me, due to health issues (tremors).  So my question is, do any other LG remotes work with the G4?.

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

      Hey guys !!!
I have a UHD UJ634v  LG webos Tv  that lately an error message pops on the screen staying : Tv signal has been lost due to the satellite LNB short.Check LNB connection"
This is really getting on my nerves because I can't get any signal even after resetting the TV or even updating to the last  software version.
I check my cable line and fixed every possible problem. The error message keeps showing up even after disconnecting cable line from the back of TV just as if a short circuit or something has happened inside the Tv.
Do you think that'd be software or hardware failure or something else??? How to fix it?
Please help me out with this cuz all my lovely satellite TV channels are gone 😐
Here is the actual error message on the right top o the screen
      Thanks in advance !!!
