SEOUL, Aug. 25, 2021 — LG Electronics’ Video Conferencing Platform is being integrated with the new ezOntheCall telemedicine service to provide medical professionals with an advanced tool for remote delivery of outpatient support. Leveraging advanced cloud computing technology, ezOntheCall offers real-time access to medical records and clinical test results stored in hospital information systems (HIS) to enable healthcare professionals to quickly and easily retrieve the most up-to-date data on patients for immediate sharing over video calls.*

, to develop the telemedicine solution, adapting its Video Conferencing Platform to ensure a seamless user experience. Combining LG’s WebRTC-based Video Conferencing Platform with ezCaretech’s EMR-based telemedicine application, the solution enables medical center and hospital staff to handle administrative processes and update relevant records while communicating with patients remotely. ezOntheCall also covers outpatient services with a portal that allows patients to conveniently book follow-up appointments or consultations as well as get prescriptions refilled without having to visit their healthcare providers in person.

LG’s Video Conferencing Platform is designed to meet the growing demand of the healthcare sector for effective tools for non face-to-face diagnosis and medical consultation. Delivering high-quality audio and video, the platform works seamlessly within PC web browsers, mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT), allowing direct peer-to-peer communication without the need for additional plugins or apps.

Selected by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs (MNGHA), LG’s latest telemedicine solution is being implemented in six major hospitals throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh and approximately 70 primary healthcare centers, starting this month. Following this initial rollout, the solution will be available in the United States and other key markets later this year.

      I have many movies, mp4 or mkv file with cover art muxed,  but SmartShare
      show only a randomic picture taken from movie as preview.
       
      I'm not on DLNA but in HDD on USB 3.0 port so not using media servers like Windows or Plex.
       
      Where do i have to put cover arts? Side-by-side in same directory of the file with same name like: movie1.mp4 - cover1.jpg ?

      SEOUL, Jan. 21, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) is unveiling the LG PuriCare AeroBooster air care solution, an ideal choice for customers seeking to create a more comfortable and healthier indoor environment. The innovative new product provides powerful performance with cutting-edge air purification technology and features a slim, sophisticated design that balances effortless style with unparalleled convenience.
      The LG PuriCare AeroBooster utilizes the advanced Aero Series V Filter to draw in pollutants from every direction, effectively reducing the presence of dust, odors, viruses and bacteria for a fresher, more hygienic home. With its Dual Airflow and Clean Booster features, the AeroBooster delivers wider, more efficient air circulation and helps to reduce large dust particles from the indoor space. Purified air is emitted from vents at the top and bottom of the device simultaneously, reaching a distance of up to five and a half meters to fill every corner of the room with clean, filtered air.
      The AeroBooster also integrates LG’s proprietary UVnano technology to safeguard the hygiene of the device itself and to maintain the quality of airflow it produces.       In addition, the AeroBooster offers intelligent energy-savings with the ultra-efficient AI+ Mode. Without compromising performance, AI+ reduces the device’s energy consumption by over 49 percent compared to Smart+ Mode, which serves as the default mode of operation.3 When set to Sleep Mode, the AeroBooster runs at an ultra-quiet 21 dBA to help ensure a calm, tranquil environment. Meanwhile, LG ThinQ compatibility allows users to remotely monitor and control the company’s new air purifier from any location.

      1 Tested by KOTITI testing and research institute using test model AS155GWDL, the results show a 99.999 percent reduction of Staphylococcus aureus, 99.999 percent reduction of Klebsiella pneumoniae, and 99.998 percent reduction of Staphylococcus epidermidis on fan blades. The test conditions included a temperature of 25±2 degrees Celsius, humidity of 50±10 percent, and weak wind settings with a 2-hour UVC LED on/4-hour off cycle.
      2 Tested by TÜV Rheinland using the AS55G** model, the results demonstrate a maximum ion concentration of 5,000,000 at a distance of 100 millimeters from the air discharge outlet and an antibacterial performance of 99.5 percent against Escherichia coli. The test was conducted under controlled conditions, including a temperature of 20±3 degrees Celsius, humidity of 40±10 percent, a 30.2 cubic meters test chamber, and Booster mode with 4-stage rated air volume. The ion counter was placed 100 mm from the air discharge outlet in the wind direction, and after a drying period, the chamber floor was exposed without unit operation for 60 minutes. Actual results may vary depending on the use environment.
      3 Tested by TÜV Rheinland using test model AS55*G***, the results showed that the AI+ Mode achieved 49.6 percent higher energy-saving performance compared to the Smart+ Mode, with an integrated power consumption of 28.260 watt-hours versus 56.085 watt-hours for Smart+ mode. The test conditions included a temperature of 23±5 degrees Celsius and a humidity level of 55±15 percent, with integrated power consumption measured over an 8-hour period starting 15 minutes after the activation of each operation mode.

      Sets a New Standard for the Mobility Experience

      SEOUL, Jan. 3, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG), working with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., will introduce the groundbreaking Cross Domain Controller (xDC) platform for vehicles at CES 2025. Based on Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Ride Flex System-on-Chip (SoC),* which pre-integrates Snapdragon Ride automated driving stack and computer vision, this cutting-edge solution incorporates LG’s In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) System and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) into a single controller. The xDC platform is set to redefine vehicle performance and elevate the mobility experience.
      Due to the increasing complexity of modern vehicles, the need for a central computer that can efficiently manage diverse functionalities has become paramount. The Flex SoC addresses this need, presenting a single SoC with pre-integrated ADAS, automated driving capabilities and an open platform offering support for digital cockpit and IVI. By utilizing Qualcomm Technologies’ flexible, multifunctional chipset, LG’s xDC platform is able to rapidly process data from IVI and ADAS systems concurrently, enhancing the overall driving experience. Along with providing a more efficient mobility experience, this single-SoC innovation reduces component costs. The xDC platform also delivers the proactive assistance of “ADAS confidence view,” which combines 3D and 2D graphics to help drivers maintain focus on the road.
      The platform enables drivers and front seat passengers to easily and intuitively access a wide range of information through the vehicle’s main display. This includes critical ADAS alerts, such as distance to the vehicle ahead and lane departure warnings, as well as alternative routes based on real-time traffic conditions. The system can even provide useful lifestyle information, such as promotions from frequently visited stores, to make each journey more enjoyable.
      A highly-capable “all-in-one” system that can simultaneously handle multiple vehicle functions, such as navigation, safety systems and ADAS features, the new xDC is the result of close cooperation between LG and Qualcomm Technologies. The Flex SoC, which has obtained Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL)-D certification – an international safety standard – contributes significantly to xDC’s ability to deliver reliable support for critical in-vehicle functions.
      At CES 2025, taking place in Las Vegas from January 7-10, LG and Qualcomm Technologies will demonstrate the xDC platform in their respective private showcases. Establishing a new standard for integrated IVI and ADAS systems, the xDC platform efficiently manages and controls complex system functions and is expected to play a pivotal role in the coming software-defined vehicle era.
