Although stress is a natural feeling that affects everyone, managing it has become increasingly difficult in today’s digital age. Recognizing this, LG Taiwan recently organized a special forum to help local customers address their anxiety and better manage stress, as part of the global “Optimism your feed” campaign and “Life’s Good with Optimism” initiative.
In the build up to this forum, LG Taiwan launched a psychological test on its Instagram page, aimed at raising awareness about social media-induced anxiety. This initiative helped followers gain a better understanding of the stress they experience from their digital lives.
Held on August 10, the forum featured esteemed psychologist Dr. Hui-Wen Deng and renowned YouTube film critic “Lessons from Movies.” They shared their professional insights and experiences on how social media impacts mental health and provided attendees with practical strategies to manage stress and maintain optimism, aligning with LG’s Life’s Good philosophy.
Dr. Deng explored the negative psychological effects of social media, emphasizing the importance of initiatives like LG’s “Optimize your feed” to help people navigate their online lives without feeling overwhelmed by anxiety.
The event also featured the host of popular YouTube channel “Lessons from Movies,” who shared her personal experiences as a key opinion leader, offering valuable techniques to embrace optimism in the face of criticism.
This event was a hit, with over 100 sign-ups within just half a day and nearly 80 percent of attendees participating in the interactive Q&A session that was held on the day. Many sought advice on how to overcome challenges and maintain an optimistic outlook on life, with many hailing the event as a source of useful information. One guest asked if either of the speakers would be collaborating with LG Taiwan on similar events in the future, or if LG Taiwan had more activities promoting “Optimism” in the works, suggesting a strong desire for more events like this.
On site, Instagrammable photo props and check-in gifts were provided to encourage participants to share their experience with friends and followers via social media. And as they left eager to try out the new techniques they had learned, LG handed out stress-relief fortune cookies and stress balls to each person in the hope of leaving a lasting positive impression and giving them constant reminder of its Life’s Good message.
LG Taiwan’s stress forum not only highlighted the importance of optimism in today’s digital world but also reinforced the brand’s dedication to enriching people’s lives. By providing valuable insights and practical advice on managing stress, LG is helping people navigate the complexities of their online lives, while promoting a message that Life’s Good every day, not just on the good days.

Hi All,
i’ve got an OLED 55C1 with webOS 6.0 and a service remote in South America.
I’ve been able to find working area codes for almost all regions using the service remote based on previous posts and tables.
Of most use to me were:
Brazil: 26895 (local DTV transmission settings) /22800 (BR/US DTV transmission settings)
US: 1843 / 1793 / 22287
UK/EU/Turkey: 3122
AU Australia: 767
JP Japan: 23439
I’ve also found working codes for China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Hog Kong (HK), Philippines (PH), Australia, NZ & South Asia incl. India (AJ), certain African and Middle Eastern countries (JA or JA ME IL regions: note Israel is not an option even though IL appears in the code) , Canada (CA), Mexico (MX), Panama and Central America (PA), Ecuador (EC), Colombia (CO), Peru (PE), Chile (CL), and Argentina (AR).
Notably absent were working codes for;
Israel (IL)
Korea (KR)
Russia and CIS countries (RU CIS)
Eastern Europe (ETC?)
Does anyone know the working area option service codes for these countries?
I am mostly interested in working IL and KR codes.
thank you so much!

The popularity of the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), the largest esports competition in Korea, transcends borders, which is why it is broadcast live in six languages worldwide. Vietnam, ranking third in viewership, boasts a robust League of Legends (LoL) community that appreciates every opportunity to get closer to their favorite team and pros. In fact, just recently a record-breaking 560,000 Vietnamese viewers tuned in live to the LCK Spring 2024 Finals.
Held at the end of April, the winner of the grand finals was none other than Gen.G Esports, making it four LCK championships in a row for the first time in the Korean league history. On top of this, Gen.G extended its win streak by claiming victory at the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), securing their first MSI title and guaranteeing their place at the 2024 LoL World Championship this fall.
As a fervent backer of the world’s top-ranked LoL esports team, LG has been outfitting the Gen.G team with its LG UltraGear gaming monitors, known for their superior refresh rates and responsive performances, as its Official Display Partner since 2021.
On May 25, in a gesture of gratitude for their immense Vietnamese fan base and to bring Life’s Good moments with LG to life, the four-time LCK champions hosted their inaugural meet and greet at

During their Vietnam trip, the Gen.G team also took part in the Life’s Good Tournament with fans. From May 14-19, Vietnamese influencers and Optimus led the preliminaries, with the top four teams earning a coaching session from Gen.G Global Academy coaches.
The winning team of the Life’s Good Tournament, Xin Giải Nhì, not only won LG UltraGear monitors (24GN65R) but also had the extraordinary chance to challenge their Gen.G idols in a final showdown. This unique event included a mixed-teams match, pairing members from both Gen.G and Xin Giải Nhì, and was broadcast live on the .
The Life’s Good Tournament and fan event was a great opportunity for Gen.G members to connect with their fans in Vietnam in person. As an influential team within the gaming realm, Gen.G took part in LG’s ‘Optimism your feed’ social media campaign which aims to spread the message of Life’s Good through curated content designed to bring a smile to their faces.
Through several Tik Tok and Instagram reels, Gen.G members shared their view on optimism and how their motivation to work hard comes from their teammates and fans around the world, calling on them to join the campaign. Influencers Mai Dora and Optimus also asked their followers to share what they feel optimistic about.

Dear LG TV developers,
I am glad to see that LG Smart TV has a built-in web browser and LG API supports "openBrowserAt" so that my smart home controller can open a web page on the TV. However, nowadays, we also have ms-teams online meeting that is accessible through web browser which the LG TV supports. However, this requires the browser to have a microphone to record audio and to have a webcam for video recording. Also, certain smart-home systems also need built-in microphone to record voice commands so that no additional standalone unit is required next to the TV.
Unfortunately, LG Smart TV (I have OLED48A1PTA) does not have microphone neither does it support USB mic/webcam. So I am writing this post to suggest that future middle/higher-end LG Smart TV can be equipped with these. Moreover, it might be possible for TV firmware update to add the support of USB webcam/microphone so that they can be used in web browsers for web-based online meeting.
Thank you very much for your consideration!
Best regards,
Xuancong
