How to watch a videos while this video is recording?

I am recording videos to 

link hidden, please login to view
 NAS. During the recording I like to watch the video (still recording).  The Photo and Video App on webOS does not show the file unless the recording has terminated. Is there a possibility to watch videos in webOS while it get recorded?

      Recently while watching TV, the screen goes blank and then this message appears  'The app needs to close to save memory'  then the TV reboots to the program being watched.
      Any help and information as to what causes this would be appreciated.

      I have many movies, mp4 or mkv file with cover art muxed,  but SmartShare
      show only a randomic picture taken from movie as preview.
       
      I'm not on DLNA but in HDD on USB 3.0 port so not using media servers like Windows or Plex.
       
      Where do i have to put cover arts? Side-by-side in same directory of the file with same name like: movie1.mp4 - cover1.jpg ?
       
      Anyone successed to get cover art showing?
