we took a look at , a theme that applied an Android 4.0-layer of Ice Cream over the webOS UI. A lot of theming work is done to make one device look like another - this blogger at one point had a Windows XP-running Tablet PC outfitted to look and generally look like Mac OS X. webOS themes are no exception to this make-it-look-like-something-else, uh, theme, and some are more ambitions than others.

webOS Nation forum member fraincs took to the forums with a theme of his that's a work in progress, but it's one that we couldn't help but find interesting. He's taking webOS and reskinning it to look like something unexpected: .Yeah, the next generation Microsoft operating system for desktop, laptops, and tablets.

The work-in-progress theme doesn't throw a layer of blocky flat Metro UI onto your TouchPad, and it's not likely to ever do that. What it does to is reskin the aspects of webOS like the Quick Launch bar, Just Type search box, and phone app emulator to give them a Windows 8-inspired appearance. That means flat color boxes and square corners, very much in opposition to the rounded corners and heavy gradients that give webOS depth where Windows Metro is flat.

While the Windows 8 theme is a work in progress right now, we couldn't help but give it a once over. If you're feeling the urge to do the same, go ahead and to check it out.

I've bought OLED55CX3LA and have screenshare errors ever since.
I'm using Dell machine with Windows 10 onboard.
Almost every time I try to connect using "connect with remote screen" windows option, I get the pop up that
      only with cancel button.

Sometimes there is approval button but mostly I have only "cancel" option.
Have this error on OLED55CX3LA and one older model. Same behavior.

Mobile screen sharing working perfectly fine.

      How to fix it?
I've cleared the connection history but without any success.
Not sure if I should put it on warranty or if there is some simple fix?

Has anyone been able to run Screen Share from a Windows 10 PC? Mine will not connect to the LG TV.

I have three LG Smart TVs in my home. I have a Windows 11 PC with videos on the hard drive. It seems like I should be able to connect to the PC videos from any one of the TVs. When I "show all inputs" on the TV, the PC shows up. When I select it, I get the message "Device not connected". All devices are connected to the home wifi network. I also have LG's SmartShare running on the PC and the video folder has been selected for sharing.
      Any suggestions?
      Thanks.

      Hi there,
I'm trying to connect my Windows 10 PC as an audio output device for my LG TV (43UM7100PLB, software v. 05.00.15). I know that Windows 10 now supports Bluetooth audio sink mode in order to act as an audio receiver, but my TV just won't pair with it. Windows sees the TV, but it cannot pair with it, just says "Try connecting your device again" (screenshot attached). When I use the WebOS Sound Out > Bluetooth and search for a device, nothing shows up even though my PC is discoverable.
If I try the Bluetooth Audio Playback feature of the TV from the Home Dashboard, I can pair the computer with TV and am able to stream audio from the PC to TV, so I'm beginning to suspect the TV is rejecting the PC for some reason.
      Any help is greatly appreciated!
