How to watch from my NBA pass

Question

Posted

Hello,

I am trying to watch NBA matches at my TV, and i have nba pass subsrciption. It appears that my country is not eligible and there is no nba app at the lg store.
When i login to my account through the webos broswer , when i try to watch a game, i get the message "download the app", and the link takes me to other apple store.
I tried to watch through airplay (either from my macbook or my iphone), but when i connect to airplay, the screen gets black. I guess that is something with nba sharing rights etc, because with other apps it works fine.

has anybody find any solution to this?

No solution other than through another device (a computer, etc.), so those few dollars I saved buying LG (with WebOS) rather than a.g. Philips or Sony or Panasonic (with Android) spent on the second device. I guess buying an LG was a mistake.

LG makes a good OLED HW but is a decade behind the curve in content/app ecosystem. And an arrogance of old-time manufacturers in not giving a dam about customer feedback.

My LG television does not have a CI Module and pay chennals shows scrambled. In some LG televisions, some free to air channels work fine while others pay chennals will display the message "No CI Module". How to watch other LGTV "Scrambled" channels.

This is a question about the IR Blaster port on the backside of the OLED G3 TV. I understand that the LG Magic Remote can be configured to control third-party devices through its IR blaster. Does anyone know if the LG TV's blaster is limited to working with the LG Magic Remote or is it possible for the LG blaster to pass-through the IR signal from a third-party remote to my device located behind the TV? I don't want to configure the LG Magic Remote to control my device. I would prefer to use my device's remote and just have the LG TV pass the IR signal from the frontside of the TV to the backside of the TV where my device can see it. Does this make sense?

Have you been wondering what LG will do with webOS next?
      According to
link hidden, please login to view, a since pulled website has arisen (here are the cached pages from Google  and ) detailing info about LG’s all new platform supposedly called ““. It is thought that this is going to rival Samsung’s Tizen, maybe even in retaliation to Apple’s new smart watch. Hopefully our loyal fan-base will make it popular! According to pictures pulled from the site (see below), the SDK for the said smart watches, will supposedly be released with the announcement of LG’s plans to move webOS to the Smart watch platform.
