How to navigate within Disney+ App

When I’m watching a program on the built-in Disney+ App and want to stop viewing, I can't figure out how to exit to the main menu of the Disney+ App. I’ve been having to exit the App altogether and then restart it. Surely there's a better way?

I have a 65" LG and a Logitech Logi 665 remote.  Disney + seems to take a while when you hit the 'Back' button, but that's what I do.

It seemed to get slower with the last update.

I think the delay is possibly due to the menu screen being in ultra high definition.  Disney takes a long time to boot (just like Apple TV +). That's why it's so slow.  Sometimes, I get frustrated with how slow the app actually is.

My educated guess it's Disney, not LG.  Disney + has a support number through the Disneyplus.com portal as well.
