I have an LG tv 43UP77006LB.BEKFLJP. Just recently, having owned the tv for a couple of years, the tv has taken to switching itself on during the night, usually at about 2.00 am. The tv is connected to a TalkTalk box for recording purposes but that has never caused an issue before. It appears to coincide with connecting a DVD player using an HDMI cable to the tv, although it was only connected for a short time and is now disconnected, so it may be irrelevant.
It appears to be a common problem.
Thanks.

I have on several occasions turned my TV off, upon leaving the house and returning to it blaring away on some random channel on YouTube! What would be the cause of this? Is there a way to turn it "OFF" off and not just standby mode?
Second question: What type of keyboard could I use for my TV and how does one install it so the TV picks it up? I hate using the on-screen unit!

Hi,
I bought a 47LB630V TV years ago, but since few weeks, my TV is going crazy.
In stand by mode, it turns on by itself without any user interaction (by the remote controller or by the joystick button). Then, the level of the sound is increasing to the maximum. In the same time, it is impossible to use the remote controller for minutes. When it happened, some time, I managed to decrease the level, but then, it goes up again to the maximum.
I tried to disconnect my TV from internet, perform a reset configuration. I also tried to downgrade the firmware (05.05.35 to 03.xx.xx). The problem stil occurs.
It seems that somehow, it is like a program that forces the joystick button to move to left. When I am in the setting menu, and my TV goes crazy, the cursor is always put on the left-most element.
Does someone already experience that ? It is like my TV was infected by a sort-of rootkit.
Thanks,

I have a problem in browser. My tv is restarting by itself after i play some videos online. On some website's it's working but more website's are not working. In the past it was working great, but after some updates it went to disaster. Past six months it's always restarting. Also on some website's i get message that my browser doesn't support this video but in the past it was working. Looks like LG removed support with new updates. I will never buy lg tv again terrible experience. Android is the way to go. They don't even have another browser to download from the store.
