Hi... I found this in the net and this worked for me.

Go to connection settings in your lg tv and disable the ipv6.  Then edit the DNS to 8.8.8.8

Hope this works for you.

If you're encountering the issue of Disney Plus being unable to play videos, you're not alone. This is a common problem that many users face, but fortunately, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you get back to enjoying your favorite shows and movies on Disney Plus.

Common Reasons for Playback Issues

  1. Internet Connectivity Problems
A slow or unstable internet connection is one of the most common culprits when Disney Plus fails to play videos. Streaming services require a reliable connection to load content smoothly.

  2. Outdated App or Device Software
Using an outdated version of the Disney Plus app or your device's operating system can lead to compatibility issues.

  3. Device Limitations
Not all devices support all the features of streaming services, including Disney Plus. Older devices may struggle to play newer content.

  4. Cache and Data Accumulation
Over time, cached data can build up and cause performance issues, including playback failures.

  5. Server Issues
Occasionally, Disney Plus may experience server outages or maintenance periods, which can affect the ability to play videos.

Steps to Fix Playback Issues

  1. Check Your Internet Connection

    • Make sure your device is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network. You can test your connection by streaming on another app or running a speed test. If your internet is slow, try restarting your router.
  2. Restart the Disney Plus App

    • Close the app completely and reopen it. This simple action can resolve many temporary glitches.
  3. Clear Cache and Data

    • On most devices, go to your settings, find the Disney Plus app, and select the option to clear cache or data. This can help refresh the app and eliminate any corrupted files.
  4. Update the App and Device Software

    • Check your device's app store for any available updates for Disney Plus. Also, ensure your device’s operating system is up to date.
  5. Try a Different Device

    • If possible, try accessing Disney Plus on another device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem is with the app or your specific device.
  6. Log Out and Back In

    • Sometimes, logging out of your Disney Plus account and then logging back in can reset any session-related issues.
  7. Check for Server Status

    • Visit the Disney Plus support page or check their social media channels for any announcements regarding service outages or maintenance.
  8. Contact Customer Support

    • If you’ve tried all the above steps and still can't play videos, it may be time to reach out to customer support. Services like

Hello,  I am looking for an app through which I can play videos on USB because inbuilt media players do not support all formats. And in some videos I'm facing frame drops or lagging.

Please take steps to include Airtel Xtream Play app in WebOS Content Store!
In India everyone is using Airtel network and Xtream Play as a bundle recharge offer with it!
LG TV is very good and technically advanced! For this mere reason of not having Airtel Xtream Play App, We Customers, need to switch over to other brands!
So, it is mandatory and timely, for LG to make Xtream Play available in WebOS TV, otherwise you have to loose your trusted Customers like us!
         Please think twice and Consider!!!

We recently subscribed to Paramount Plus to catch up on episodes we lost when our COX CONTOUR DVR died. Frequently when streaming an episode, the playback will suddenly freeze. If we try to go back, using the "undo" key, we can sometimes get the playback to resume, but it has rewound abp=out 10 minutes. After resuming playback, it will frequently freeze again. My wife is so frustrated, she wants to cancel Paramount. Any suggestions appreciated!
