How do I get my voice recognition to work again

Question

Posted

A couple days ago My LG Oled voice recognition stopped working.
If I speak to it it just says "Voice not recognized"
I have tried many things I found online to fix this issue with no luck.
One suggestion was to go to Settings>all settings>general>AI Service>Voice recognition service and change to LG ThinQ.
But the
Voice recognition service tab is gone. There is only voice recognition settings tab

I would rather not have to reset to factory settings unless there is a way to save / export my current seating's
Any suggestions

Thanks

Any solution? I'm facing the same issue...no voice command working suddenly whereas everything was fine till 10 days back.

Tried a few things (including setting the timezone), but no luck. Even got a new remote, just be sure that it's not a remote mic issue, but even with a new remote its the same.

need urgent support.

I was facing the same issue on my lg tv. After some research I found this post-

, which says to change the supported google assistant language. I made the changes and voice feature started working again.

Is there a fox for this? I am on a second remote because this stopped working on the old remote and now the issue has returned with the new remote. Tried all of the listed fixes. The TV won't alle to log into account management, there is always a pop up saying there is a problem please try again later.

So I had the same problem. Batteries new and the voice control worked through the app.

I was ready to buy a new remote where at anger I shouted at it and worked 😅. I realised might be fixable as microfon still works 💪. So after i opened it I found a lot of dust covering the little pinhole and after a good alcohol clean all good works like new.

So before do all the hassle to reset your tv and loose all your data 🙄 (thanks lg support) instal thinkQ app and add your tv ( if you haven't done it already) and check voice recognition.

Hope I could help

My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???
      Thanks for the help.

BUG: Impossible to play an RTSP stream directly to LG WebOS.
According to LG it should work:
link hidden, please login to view "● Real-time Video Streaming
WebOS supports various IP video streaming protocols, including RTSP/RTP/HLS and UDP Multicast, for live streams. Its excellent capacity for content playback facilitates easy management of real-time video content."

After reading friggin everywhere, and on this forum, there is no easy way to do this without external products. I own 2 LG oleds, one 77" c1 and one 55" c4. And the c4 was bought with this usecase in mind.
So, how do I open an rtsp:// stream on WebOs?
      Thanks

Hi All, I just purchased a 75QNED85 and have a question about the ARC function. I have the tv hooked up to an older Denon AVR (2112ci). My cable box (FIOS) is connected to HDMI 1 on the TV. The Denon is connected from its HDMI Out (ARC) port to HDMI 3 on the TV (ARC/eARC). The tv has the ability to configure the Sound Out over HDMI to PCM, Auto or Pass-Through. If I select either Auto or Pass-Through the Denon sort of recognizes it as a Dolby Digital signal but just plays a sort of chirping/clicking sound. If I change the setting to PCM it works, but it only seems to be passing a 2.0 signal as the Denon reverts to a ProLogic surround mode. I didn't try connecting via the optical port because I already have something connected to the Denon's optical input. Anybody have experience with this? Should the PCM setting be able to output a full 5.1, 7.1 signal?

Our TV just did an update and now certain buttons on the remote aren't working, and the TV won't stay on if it even comes on at all you get a dark blue screen and that is it.. such a great update. Now what do we do? The remote batteries have been changed and it still isn't working correctly. We unplugged the TV and then replaced it in.. ugh..
