SEOUL, Nov. 18, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) is unveiling its latest, premium UltraGear OLED gaming monitor GX7 (model 27GX790A). Designed for serious gamers, the new model features a 27-inch, QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) WOLED display with a 0.03milliseconds Gray-to-Gray (GTG) response time and a 480Hz refresh rate – the fastest of any QHD OLED monitor. The 27GX790A, the most compact UltraGear OLED display yet, delivers enhanced gaming immersion with exceptional picture quality, silky-smooth performance and 4-side virtually borderless design. It also works seamlessly with the newest graphics cards, thanks to an array of advanced connectivity options, including DisplayPort 2.1.
The all-new 27GX790A is equipped with LG’s WOLED display technology, which employs a white OLED light source with color filters to produce accurate RGB colors and impressive screen brightness. This technology provides a high contrast ratio, vibrant colors, deep blacks and excellent motion clarity – even during the most fast-paced gaming action – LG’s WOLED tech has earned the new UltraGear OLED gaming monitor both VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and highest VESA ClearMR tier.
Additionally, the 27GX790A offers NVIDIA G-SYNC® compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, further enhancing the gaming experience by eliminating distracting screen-tearing and flickering. The application of LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) Coating provides a more comfortable gaming experience in brighter rooms, enabling gamers to see what’s happening on screen without difficulty.
Incorporating DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 interfaces, the 27-inch UltraGear OLED gaming monitor ensures compatibility with the latest consoles and gaming PCs, as well as next-generation GPUs expected to launch in early 2025. DisplayPort 2.1 yields a 67 percent increase in bandwidth compared to DisplayPort 1.4, meaning it can support higher resolutions and refresh rates.

Platform Now Supports 180Hz VRR for Seamless, Smooth Gaming Experience
SEOUL, Sep. 24, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) announces that its webOS Hub platform is now available for third-party gaming monitors. This expansion follows the company’s previous rollout of the webOS Hub platform to third-party smart TVs and smart monitors, addressing the increasing trend of gaming monitors and smart monitors being equipped with OTT streaming services.
The new platform features, customized for gaming monitors, include VRR 180Hz, providing gamers with an optimal environment free from stuttering or tearing. The platform also maximizes user convenience with various connectivity options, including wired and wireless keyboards and mouse, DisplayPort and USB-C type. Additionally, the Game Dashboard and Game Optimizer allow users to easily configure the optimal settings for each game. The Game card app provides easy access to content, including cloud games.
On top of the new gaming features, the webOS Hub also continues to provide a comprehensive entertainment experience through streaming services and LG Channels. It also offers convenient music listening through the Card App Home Hub & Music and useful features optimized for document handling or video conferencing, accessible via the Home Office card app.
The latest webOS Hub features are expected to be made available first on Acer’s upcoming Nitro GS272U M QHD 180Hz gaming monitor, with more partners to adopt the platform in the near future. I have a 65 Inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV 2024 - Model OLED65C4PUA.ACC. here have been a many weird things happening. This is one of them:
Whenever I turn on my TV, it doesn't remember the audio settings I chose before. I repeatedly need to set my audio for the input I am using. I ofter select APPLY TO ALL INPUTS to try and make sure it's the same regardless of which input I use, but it still reverts all changes.
Does anyone know what this happens?

New Comprehensive Laundry Solution Meets Diverse Space and Customer Needs,

SEOUL, Aug. 22, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) is set to unveil its latest washer at IFA 2024. The new model boasts the company’s state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) 2.0 technology and Pet Care cycle features, delivering an effective washing performance with a larger and more efficient capacity.
Leveraging the company’s advanced low-vibration technology, LG presents its first washer in the 25-inch category, offering the convenience of larger washing loads with an increased drum capacity of up to 16 kilograms.1 In addition to the increased capacity, the new washer the integrates a cutting-edge AI technology that enhances the washer’s performance.
At the core of the new washer’s performance is the AI DD 2.0, which utilizes deep learning technology to automatically detect the load weight, fabric softness and soil level of the garments. The washer then uses 6Motion technology to select the optimal washing pattern, reducing fabric damage by 10 percent to help clothing last longer.2 What’s more, pet owners can take advantage of the Pet Care cycle feature, which offers high-temperature washing up to 60 degrees Celsius and four warm water rinse cycles, effectively removing 99 percent of pet odors.3
Furthermore, LG’s new washer streamlines the laundry experience with enhanced performance technology and convenience features. Thanks to TurboWash 360, washing cycles can be reduced to just 39 minutes, while ezDispense technology simplifies the process by determining the necessary amount of detergent for a load. The washer offers a total of up to 39 washing cycles4 and automatically remembers the most frequently used cycles and features to minimize the time spent on setting selection. Users can also access the Cycle List Edit option to customize their preferences based on habits.
The washer employs LG’s renowned Inverter DirectDrive Motor, the company’s advanced core component technology, to deliver a quiet performance and enhanced durability.
