I have a flash drive with photos from our trips and would like to know if I can change the startup screen on my LG smart TV to open to the flash drive as opposed to the TV screen.

      Innovation Takes the Stage: LG NOVA Reveals 2024 Startup Pitch Winners

      link hidden, please login to view, the North America Innovation Center of LG Electronics, announced the winners of the 2024 Startup Pitch Competition, co-sponsored by LG Chem. This year’s event, held during LG NOVA’s annual  in San Francisco, featured standout startups focused on Life Sciences, Open Innovation, HealthTech, AI, Smart Life and CleanTech, with three companies recognized for their potential to drive impactful change. Ten startups competed for cash prizes and recognition in front of a panel of industry experts, LG executives and investors. The 2024 winners are:
      First Place: . – mDETECT has developed highly-sensitive cancer blood tests using DNA sequencing, offering a universal approach to monitoring therapy response and detecting cancer progression. The company received the top prize of $15,000. Second Place:  – Glidance is revolutionizing independent mobility for people who are blind or have low vision with Glide, the first AI-powered intelligent guide, which enhances confidence, safety, and autonomy. Glidance was awarded $10,000. Innovation for Impact:  – Oncoustics is transforming low-cost point-of-care ultrasound devices into powerful diagnostic tools for early detection and monitoring of liver diseases using AI. Oncoustics received $10,000 for its selection as Innovation for Impact company. This award category was sponsored by LG Chem. In addition to cash prizes, participants will have the chance to explore further collaboration through LG NOVA’s , which seeks to support innovative startups through potential collaborations, partnership programs, marketing opportunities and other resources.
      “We’re excited to recognize startups that are truly pushing the boundary of what’s possible, developing technologies that have the potential to make an impact on people’s lives,” said Dr. Sokwoo Rhee, corporate executive vice president for innovation at LG Electronics and head of LG NOVA. “These companies are leading the way in critical fields like healthcare, cleantech, AI and life sciences and we look forward to exploring opportunities with them as they continue to advance their innovations. Together, we can shape a brighter tomorrow by driving meaningful change through collaboration.”
      The fourth annual LG NOVA InnoFest brought together industry leaders, investors and startups to explore emerging technologies in a collaborative environment. This year’s theme, “Lighting the Halo for Innovation,” emphasized the importance of co-creation in driving meaningful progress. The festival featured over 70 speakers, covering topics ranging from building successful ventures and the future of AI to innovative digital care models, energy management and more.

      Kiosk Mode im Fullscreen to display a website on startup

      Hi,
      i am in the process of purchasing several LG digital signage displays and need some more information before i place
      my order.
      I need a function like kiosk mode to start a website in full screen mode on device startup.
      The device would be a LG 43UH5N-E installed is webOS.
      Is this posswible with the onboard functionallity of webOS or do i need a 3rd Party App ore something?
      There is no need for a pagerefresh or such things, only display of es simple Website.

      How to set a default app that will start automaticly when I turn on my LG tv ? 
      It is very important. 
      If there is no such feature how can I submit a request to be developed?

      Can someone help.. I just purchased a 55" LG tv and its so frustrating.  55UM69 model.  I have no set top box... I do streaming with YoutubeTV. I have the app installed but when the TV starts it will NOT restart using the last mode I used nor can I access the my app from the input buttons....  Every time I start my TV I get a poltergeist/all hash screen..  How on earth can I make this TV stop going to an input I dont have and/or automatically load up my YouTubeTV app uponn tv start.   With all the cord cutters why would they overlook this problem. Why can't I set the default startup mode or app??   Please help before I return this TV as I can't be dealing with this every day.

      How to stop the loud startup static? It's very loud.

      I am currently using this TV only to view internet content.  I am using the built-in wifi and ethernet connections.  But the TV starts up into maximally loud static every time and I haven't found a way around this.  Just about anything else would be better.  It could autodetect and mute the static.  Or it could start into the Apps screen.  Or it could start into my preferred app.  Or it could just start into a blank screen.  Whatever.  Just not loud, loud static.
      I read someone was able to set parental controls to get rid of the cable channels so it didn't start into static but that didn't work for me -- I deleted and locked all static channels but it still starts up into one of them.
      I guess more people have had success giving it an HDMI input and setting that as default -- I can't find the menu item to do that, maybe I need to actually connect an HDMI input? I don't have one readily available.  It seems silly to spend money on an extra streaming box to mostly do things that are built into my $900 TV, because it was designed to blast static on my speakers every time it starts up.
      So -- are there any other possibilities to solve this problem?
