x LG OLED at Frieze London 2023 (October 11-15). Presenting pieces brought to life by the vivid brilliance of LG OLED digital canvases, the exhibition pays homage to French Impressionism, especially the late works of the last of the Old Masters, Claude Monet.

Showcasing the synergistic potential that can be achieved when art and technology come together, Jardins d’Été is a series of videos depicting the nocturnal blossoming gardens of Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, France. For his immersive installation, Quayola uses the complexity of floral formations moved by the wind as a dataset to generate new computational paintings that can be admired in 4K thanks to LG OLED’s premium picture quality.

Quayola is a visual artist renowned for his harmonious fusion of computer programming and classical art. He employs technology as a lens to explore the tension and balance between seemingly opposing forces such as the real and artificial, figurative and abstract, old and new. With the utilization of custom computer software, his versatile portfolio encompasses audiovisual performances, video art, sculptures and works on paper.

“Jardins d’Été explores a hybrid substance between the pictorial and the algorithmic,” said Quayola. The complex tones and palettes in this series are perfectly enhanced by LG OLED’s canvases, their exceptional picture quality blurring the lines between the digital and the physical.”

“We are pleased to engage in a captivating collaboration with a talented artist like Quayola. Together, we aim to redefine artistic boundaries, blending art and technology in ways that captivate and inspire audiences, as showcased in our exhibitions and collaborative efforts,” said Kate Oh, vice president of the Brand Communication Division at LG Home Entertainment Company. “LG OLED will uphold our motto WE INSPIRE ART, supporting artists in unlocking their creative potential and giving inspiration for the evolution of digital art.”

LG continues to push the boundaries of artistic exploration, spotlighting the compelling synergy between art and technology through engaging exhibitions and collaborations with inspiring artists. Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

Company Continues to Strengthen Its Industry Leadership With
Advanced Commercial Display Technologies and Customized Solutions

SEOUL, Feb. 4, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) is unveiling its latest digital signage innovations at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from February 4-7. LG’s exhibition booth, themed “Customized Solutions, Optimized Growth,” features dedicated zones for business sectors including retail, corporate, education, transportation and hospitality. The tailored display solutions on show leverage the company’s state-of-the-art technologies to meet the diverse needs of B2B clients and enhance and expand the customer experience.
Presenting Elevated Visual-spatial Experiences with LG’s AI-powered Kinetic LED
LG is set to capture the attention of ISE visitors with its gigantic “shape-shifting” Kinetic LED display. Installed at the entrance of the company’s exhibition booth, the Kinetic LED employs cutting-edge AI technology to enthrall, entertain and amaze. The impressive screen, composed of 88 connected LED panels, measures 7,180 x 4,090 millimeters. Combining LEDs and mirrors, the cube-shaped modules that make up the Kinetic LED can rotate 360 degrees horizontally to create dynamic and mesmerizing movements.
Visitors to LG’s booth can also enjoy an AI-powered “image transformation” experience with the Kinetic LED. After they’ve taken a photo with their smartphone and uploaded it via scanning the provided QR code, their picture is transformed by LG’s generative AI into a Pop Art-style image, which is then displayed on the Kinetic LED. This fun, interactive feature, developed by LG and its Kinetic solution partner, Easywith, serves as an engaging advertising solution that invites direct participation from audiences.
In addition to the captivating Kinetic LED, LG is showcasing a wide range of advanced technologies developed in collaboration with its domestic (South Korean) and global partners. Among LG’s key partners are Triplet, an AI-driven customer behavior analytics company; Kokomo 24/7, a firm specializing in school access management and emergency response solutions; and companies such as Megapixel VR, Mo-Sys Engineering and Brompton Technology – industry leaders in the areas of broadcast equipment and virtual production. LG is also teaming up with corporate video conferencing solutions providers Logitech, Cisco and Crestron, and signage-specific content management solutions provider, BrightSign, to demonstrate the latest innovations in collaboration technology.
Upgraded LG MAGNIT Micro LED Displays to Meet Growing B2B Demand for Ultra-High-Definition Screen Solutions
LG has upgraded its acclaimed LG MAGNIT micro LED displays to improve ease of installation, content compatibility and energy efficiency. Thanks to a new design, installers can now adjust the spaces between LED modules from the rear of the display; a task that could only be performed from the front on previous models. Additionally, compatibility with content controllers has been enhanced to ensure optimal colors and image quality, while standby power consumption has been reduced by up to 98 percent compared to earlier models, significantly improving overall energy efficiency. LG’s latest innovations in micro LED technology, including the newest MAGNIT solutions, can be found in the dedicated LED Tech Zone.
      Introducing LG’s High-Brightness Outdoor Signage with Anti-Discoloration
At ISE 2025, LG is debuting its high-brightness outdoor signage solutions featuring the company’s own Anti-Discoloration technology. On show to the public for the first time, this advanced tech helps to protect LG’s high-brightness signage for outdoor spaces against the negative impacts of screen-yellowing – a common issue caused by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
In 2024, LG’s Anti-Discoloration technology became the first solution of its kind to receive verification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the globally respected standards and testing organization. To highlight its impressive lineup of customized displays with yellowing-resistant tech, LG has set up a number of simulated outdoor environments within its ISE booth, such as a bus stop, sports stadium and a drive-thru restaurant.
Comprehensive Display Solutions for Retail: From Customizable Kiosks to Fire-Safe Digital Signages with Flame-Resistant Casing
In the Retail Zone of LG’s ISE booth, visitors can explore a comprehensive selection of solutions tailored for retail environments. The display includes LG’s versatile and easy-to-install second-generation modular kiosks, as well as three digital signage models (US5P, UV5N and UP5Q) that feature outer casings certified to meet stringent international fire safety standards (BS476 in the UK and EN13501-1 in the EU).*
LG’s booth also features the full lineup of LG CreateBoard solutions tailored for both educational and corporate settings. The lineup consists of three models: LG CreateBoard Pro, LG CreateBoard and LG CreateBoard Core, each designed to cater to a variety of user requirements. The LG CreateBoard Pro stands out as the premium model, offering advanced features for enhanced performance, while the LG CreateBoard Core delivers essential functionality in a cost-effective package.
Additionally, LG is putting the spotlight on LG Business Cloud, an online platform enabling the convenient, centralized management and operation of the company’s commercial displays. Collectively, the innovations on display at ISE 2025 emphasize LG’s commitment to technological excellence and its dedication to delivering innovative solutions that empower businesses and enhance user experiences.
“LG is committed to providing commercial display solutions tailored to the specific needs of diverse business environments,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “As a leader in the B2B market, our goal is to deliver innovative solutions that elevate the value of commercial, public and educational spaces, while also enabling transformative customer experiences and supporting the growth and success of our clients.”

With K-pop’s influence spreading across the world, India is leading the way outside of Korea. Over the last decade, the unique music genre’s infectious beats, charismatic idols and vibrant performances have captured the hearts of millions of youthful Indians. The K-pop fandom here has evolved into a thriving community over the years thanks to social media and streaming platforms.
Recognizing this passion for Korean culture, LG India recently brought the unrivaled energy of K-pop closer to India’s young population by establishing a platform that celebrates cultural expression, seeks to discover talent and creates memorable moments for everyone.
At the forefront of these efforts is the “All India K-POP Contest,” a large-scale celebration of talent, music and cultural harmony, and a must-attend event on every Indian K-pop fan’s calendar.

This year’s contest saw thousands from cities across India compete in multiple rounds, culminating in a grand finale with electrifying performances by globally acclaimed K-POP bands like LUN8. This celebration of K-POP gave up-and-coming performers the chance to shine on the national stage, with exciting opportunities including trips to South Korea and state-of-the-art audio equipment to kick-start their musical journeys.
The contest began with a staggering 2,496 auditioning online in one of the biggest K-POP talent hunts ever held outside of Korea. The best 281 of them progressed to the next round – regional tournaments held offline in Kohima, Itanagar, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. From there, 281 became 27 for the semi-finals, with the competition growing more intense and competitive with each passing round.

The illustrious semi-final judging panel featured esteemed figures Yoonhyeok, Jaemin (NTX), Ha Minwoo, Jay Kim, Ahn Hanbyeol and Sushil Chhetri, each bringing their own expertise and passion to ensure a fair, competitive contest. The evening closed with a live performance by popular K-POP band NTX in front of a 2,500-strong audience, who danced along to their dynamic choreography and captivating music. Twelve semi-finalists, including two LG Wild Card entries, advanced to one of the most highly anticipated events of the year – the grand finale.

The grand finale, which took place at Yashobhoomi, India’s largest convention center in New Delhi, delivered breathtaking performances, impressing the judges and 4,000 fans in attendance. The evening even hosted globally acclaimed K-POP band LUN8, known for their infectious energy and chart-topping hits, creating an immersive K-POP experience that left the audience in awe.
Once all the performances had concluded, this year’s K-POP champions were announced as Abhipriya Chakraborty in the vocal category and The Trend, one of the LG Wild Card entries, in the dance category. Their victories earned them an all-expenses-paid trip to South Korea. Despite falling at the last hurdle, the runners-up were given LG XBOOM audio products to support their musical aspirations.

The resoundingly successful All India K-POP Contest 2024 gave a platform to young talent and united fans from across the country. By merging global cultural phenomena like K-POP with meaningful initiatives, LG continues to resonate with its Gen Z consumers, fostering their boundless creativity and self-expression.

This giant effort aligns with LG’s commitment to strengthening ties with younger generations and reaffirming its Life’s Good brand promise through the border-transcending power of music and culture.

Have you ever wondered how many LG OLED TVs are shipped every year? 100 thousand units perhaps, maybe as much as a million? In the first half of 2023, LG recorded over 1.33 million shipments of its stunning OLED TVs, setting new benchmarks and records its competitors can only dream of.
      According to market research firm
link hidden, please login to view, LG captured over 55 percent of the global OLED TV market in the first six months based on total shipments. As a renowned OLED TV leader now celebrating 10 years of innovation in this space, LG has once again defended its premium TV crown while further cementing LG OLED TV’s status as the pinnacle of premium TVs.
The “bigger the better” trend continues to prevail in the TV market, which is great news for LG. As more and more people desire larger TVs for their living spaces, models of 75 inches or larger accounted for a remarkable 11.4 percent share of total OLED TVs sold, while shipments’ yearly average growth rate topped 90 percent over the past five years. Staying on top of this growing trend, LG is resuming its dominance in the market with an outstanding 64.2 percent share in total shipments of OLED TVs over 75 inches.
LG is targeting this new demand for large and premium TVs in the second half of 2023 with the groundbreaking TV (model 97M3) it unveiled in July, which boasts the world’s first 4K 120Hz wireless solution that makes it easy for customers to achieve their dream interior.

Not one to be confined, LG unleashed a tidal wave of 10 million TV units (OLED and LCD) on the world, which has helped the company carve out a 16.2 percent share of revenue for itself in the global TV market.
Despite facing a downturn in the global TV market, LG persisted in strengthening its inventory management and securing higher profits while actively pursuing a strategic approach for its premium and ultra-large displays. And this commitment has paid off substantially, with its LG OLED TVs now accounting for around 30 percent of the company’s overall revenue generated from TV sets.

TV shipments totaled over 92 million units in the first half of 2023, matching last year’s first half performance. The OLED TV segment, which has been led by LG for a number of years, has already passed the 2 million shipments mark this year, which bodes well for the rest of 2023.
OLED TVs are continuing their takeover of the global TV market after capturing 9.3 percent of all revenue in the first half. Meanwhile, Omdia predicts that OLED TVs are set to shine even brighter, projecting at least a 43 percent revenue share among premium TVs priced above USD 1,500.
